Your clients get their own view of their projects and never count as team members, on any edition. Adding a client costs nothing, so you never ration who sees the work.

2. Your server is where client data stays
If a client contract says their data stays with you, it does. The app checks for a new version once a day, and mail and sign-in connect only when you set them up.

3. 15 min to a running install
One line installs it on your own Linux server. After the first-run setup your team works in the issue list, or from Claude once you connect it.
Needs Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04, or Debian 12; amd64 or arm64; 1 GB of RAM, 2 GB recommended; ports 80 and 443 free; a DNS A record pointing at the server.
